Messin' with Sasquatch

Do you ever feel like there's so much going on in your mind, that you just don't even bother trying to express it all? Well, I do/am.

Then, something good happens, if you just let it.

Today at lunch, I said to my roommate, "You know what I miss? Those Messin' with Sasquatch commercials." They all agreed that no one has seen a new one in a while. Well, as soon as I got home from school, I started working on my homework and some orthodontic research, and I turned on the tv for some background noise (I know, counterproductive right?). Well, not more than 10 minutes went by before a new one of these very commercials came on. And then I laughed loudly with no one else around. It's my responsibility to share these things with you.

Let me give you the premise. A few dudes are out doing 'guy things' and they see Bigfoot in nature. They eat some of their Jack Link's Beef Jerky. Then, rather than take pictures of Sasquatch, or try to catch him, or run and hide from the beast, their first idea is always to prank him. I know, what else would sell beef jerky? Then Bigfoot falls for it, the dudes laugh and try to get away, and Bigfoot chases them and exerts massive force and attempts to remove their extremities. It's ridiculous and undoubtedly terrific.

I think humor is a pretty good treatment for a full mind. Not to mention, if I ever buy beef jerky, I'll probably choose these guys. I guess advertising can work. Maybe I can get a funny commercial to get people into my office someday. If you've got something funny, do share. Happy weekend everyone.
